Inquiry

Inside was a drowsy office, the sheriff took a seat and looked up at me, waiting for me to be the first one to speak.

“Have you seen this dog?”

“No.”

Short, sweet, and peppy.

“Is that all? Do you require any more service?”

“No, thank you though.”
