Minutes passed till Biscuit spoke up again.
“I didn’t mean to disappear on you Tumbleweed. I never wanted to.”
“I told myself it was some kinda punishment. Something silly I did wrong.”
“Sometimes the world just throws uncontrollable things at you.”
“So where have your travels taken you to?”
“Wherever the world wants me to go.”
Silence once again.
I don’t want answers from her, it feels as if I already know everything.
Though one question remains.
“You’re coming back with me right?”
She shook her head at me.
“I’m moving out here, Tumbleweed. My heart speaks to me out here.”
“Mine wants you to come back.”
“You’re your own dog. Don’t hold yourself back cause of me.”
“I should stay here for a bit. Or maybe we head out on one more adventure. And then when I’m traveling around I can stop by and see you.”
“No can do, my plans are settled here and you’ve got your own plans too. You’ve been out here for months, I want you to live out your life. Do what makes you the most happy.”
